Antonio Burkett, CHt, NIC, BS, is a bilingual (English, American Sign Language) Certified Hypnotherapist committed to prioritizing the mental and emotional fitness of all clients he sees.

Antonio is a graduate of the iNLP Center, a fully accredited, psychology-based training center backed by the International Hypnosis Federation and the International NLP Association.  Antonio specializes in regressions, a facet of hypnotherapy, which aims to revisit repressed events and experiences to heal clients at the subconscious level.

Since 2022, Antonio has worked with older and younger deaf and hearing clients to achieve mental and life breakthroughs, hosted guided meditations proven to reduce blood pressure and acute illnesses, facilitated academic presentations for families experiencing anxiety arising from postsecondary transition stress, taught self-hypnosis writing and actualization, and conducted workshops regarding the application of hypnotherapeutic tools for sign language interpreters.

Antonio believes making an authentic connection is central to supporting the hypnotherapeutic healing process. His therapeutic approach includes creating a comfortable and safe space, free from judgment, allowing for an open-minded session to ensure each client is seen, heard, understood and validated.  Once a connection is established, we pinpoint the presenting problem, co-create a tailored solution with the client’s approval, and begin the hypnotic process in the next session.

Antonio is the only Black male Certified Hypnotherapist and Certified ASL Interpreter in the US (and perhaps internationally).  The convergence of these professions grant him the ability to see individuals through a neutral lens to incorporate diversity of thought and perspective in his practice. He is a staunch advocate for the holistic wellbeing of historically marginalized groups, e.g. people of color, LGBTQ+, disability, etc. and believes everyone should be afforded the opportunity to experience a healthy and wealthy life because #HealthIsWealth.
