At our practice, we understand that mental health treatment for your family can be costly. While we are not independently paneled with any health insurance, we are dedicated to providing affordable care for individual therapy. To accomplish this, we work with Headway and Grow therapy as an independent contractor to provide in-network care only for individual therapy. For out-of-network benefits, Mentaya will handle everything with insurance to make sure you get your money back.

We are considered "out of network" with other insurance companies. Suppose you are interested in utilizing your insurance. In that case, we recommend contacting your insurance company to determine your out-of-network mental health benefits. Some insurance companies do not reimburse out-of-network benefits, but others reimburse 100% of out-of-network charges. We will provide you with a SUPERBILL, a detailed receipt to submit for potential reimbursement of your costs. When contacting your insurance provider, you may want to ask the following questions:
What are my mental health benefits? Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits? Do I have teletherapy benefits?
Do I need a preauthorization or a referral for psychotherapy sessions?
How many mental health sessions does my health insurance cover each year?
Do I have to meet a deductible, and if so, what is this amount?
What is the reimbursement amount per therapy session for an out-of-network provider?

That's okay! Our practice is not independently paneled with any health insurance. Did you know that insurance companies require specific diagnoses to authorize treatment? They also have access to your therapeutic records. Bypass getting a label that will follow you and avoid sharing your private records with your health insurance. This keeps your treatment incredibly private and confidential. We always clearly state our fees and provide an estimate of cost prior to initiating services. Please feel free to ask us for as much detail and/or explanation as you would like in this regard. You will not be responsible for any costs and work that you do not allow per a signed consent form. You have the right to receive a "Good Faith Estimate" explaining how much your medical care will cost.
